It’s In the Bag
Set-up: Before the bridal shower fill a large shopping bag with about 20 different objects - invitation, ball, stuffed animal, anything crazy. Choose one of the bridesmaids to carry the bag. Have the bridesmaid dress a little "off". Mismatched socks, one earring, two necklaces, untied shoe ... things that are subtle. How to play: Announce to the bridal shower guests that you have a fun memory game to play. Have the bridesmaid walk around to each bridal shower guest, open the bag and tell them they have 20 seconds to memorize as many items as they can. (Don't say they have to memorize the items in the bag ... just "as many items as they can." ) After the last person has looked through the bag have the person carrying the bag leave the room. Now … ask the ladies to take their paper and pens write down everything they can remember about the bridesmaid who was carrying the bag. (Hair color, outfit color, shoes, nail polish etc. ) Very funny game - the guests are so intent on what was in the bag that some may not even remember who was carrying it! Give a prize for the guest with the best description. Variation: Instead of having the guests describe the bridesmaid, ask them the following questions. The person with the most right answers receives the prize. Ask guests the following questions about the person carrying the bag. 1. What was the color of her hair? 2. What was her nail polish color? 3. Was she wearing high heels? 4. Was she wearing pants or a skirt? 5. Did she wear glasses? 6. Was she wearing earrings? 7. Is she married? 8. What color was her outfit? 9. Was she wearing a bracelet? 10. Was she wearing a necklace? 11. Did her earrings match? 12. Did the eye shadow on each eye match each other.
